Naava is the winning design of a competition held in honor of VM Carpet’s 50th anniversary, created by Laura Krekula.

“The inspiration for the Naava rug comes from memories of childhood summer trips with my mother in the ancient forests of Lapland. Long strands of lichen draping from tree branches were everywhere. The sight was magical, peaceful, and beautiful. The design language of the Naava rug stems from this memory. The long strands of lichen extend beyond the edges of the rug through the fringes, reaching further. The wisps sway wave-like in the wind, quietly telling us a story. Nature enters the home.”

Care: Regular vacuum cleaning. Remove stains immediately with clean damp cloth. Do not rub.

Clean: Dry foam or gentle level wash in max. +30ºC water with mild detergent and soft brush. Do not soak or rub. Rinse carefully with plenty of water. Extract the excess water e.g. by a roller press. Shape the damp carpet with care. Air dry flat. Do not fold. Professional level washing is recommended.
